For 21 years, I lived in a world of performance reviews, quotas, and PowerPoints. I could recite my monthly sales targets faster than I could remember my children’s school projects.
On paper, it looked like success.
In reality, I was an exhausted, high-performing woman quietly breaking inside.
The corporate world had taught me to be efficient, polished, and predictable.
But not alive.
I used to sit in the parking lot before work and whisper, “God, is this it? Is this really what You made me for?”
And somewhere between the exhaustion and the daily striving, I began to feel that small, holy nudge. “I have more for you.”
I didn’t leave overnight. Women like me rarely do.
We’re responsible. We plan. We analyse. We pray for a clear sign and then ask for five confirmations before moving.
But eventually, that whisper became a roar.
I remember one particular day, my inbox overflowing, my boss asking for “just one more deck,” and me realising: I was building someone else’s dream at the expense of my own.
That night, I opened my laptop and typed four words that changed my life: “How to start a business.”
It wasn’t glamorous. I didn’t have investors or a strategy.
Just a deep conviction that God wasn’t calling me to hustle harder, He was calling me to create differently.
At first, I started small: coaching friends of friends after hours.
I discovered something that lit me up and helped women see themselves the way God sees them.
Not the way corporate titles defined them.
Not the way algorithms ranked them.
But through Heaven’s blueprint, purpose, grace, and identity.
That became the foundation for everything I do today as a Brand Strategist and Showit Designer.
Because here’s the truth: a brand isn’t built on colours and fonts.
It’s built on clarity, calling, and confidence.
I watched women hide their voices because they didn’t feel qualified.
And I realised, I wasn’t just designing websites; I was helping women reclaim their God-given voice.
That’s when chantellroberts.co was born.
Now, a luxury brand studio, yes, but more importantly, a creative sanctuary for women who are done playing small.
Leaving the comfort of a paycheck taught me more about faith than any sermon could.
Because faith looks different when it’s not just about your salvation, but about your next invoice.
Here’s what I learned in the middle of that transition:
You can’t carry corporate survival skills into a Kingdom assignment.
The habits that once made me successful, overthinking, overworking, and overperforming, were the very things keeping me from peace.
And slowly, as I surrendered the outcome, my business started to bloom in ways my spreadsheets never could have predicted.
Today, I help corporate women of faith build brands that reflect who they are becoming, not just what they sell.
Women who know they’re called for more, but don’t want to lose their soul in the process.
My ventures all orbit around one truth: You are not behind. You are being built.
Whether you’re in your first pivot or your fifteenth, there’s a rhythm of grace in the way God unfolds purpose.
It’s not about starting over. It’s about stepping into alignment.
Because you don’t need to prove yourself. You need to position yourself.
And that’s what branding really is: identity, expressed beautifully and truthfully.
Maybe you’re still in that cubicle, scrolling during lunch, wondering if there’s more.
Maybe you want to stay in corporate, but hear the call to a passion project.
Maybe you’ve got a spark of an idea, but it feels too small, too late, too risky.
Let me remind you:
God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to take the next faithful step.
Because I’m living proof that when you surrender your plan for His purpose, He’ll rewrite your story with divine precision.
Every closed door, every delayed promotion, every restless night, it was never wasted. It was preparation for your becoming.
And when you finally decide to walk in it, everything changes.

Tell me: Which part of today’s blog sparked something in you?
Your words help the next God-led woman find her clarity too.

Most “experts” will give you a checklist.
Most branding pros will focus only on colours and fonts.
Most strategists will tell you to show up more.
I don’t do that.
I walk you back to your WHY and then we build your brand from there.
That’s why my clients become unshakable, not overwhelmed.
